Deadline has been extended to October 30th!
Entering our 4th year, the Montclair Film Festival is a non-profit organization, existing to nurture and showcase the talents of filmmakers from around the world. Each year, the Festival creates a cultural focal point in the Township of Montclair that unites, empowers, educates and celebrates our region’s diverse community and robust artistic heritage.
As such, our 2014-15 campaign should reflect the MFF brand and the ideas our organization seeks to celebrate. While many film festival campaigns and designs focus on some of the tried and true symbols of Hollywood and the film industry— a quick Google Image search of film festival posters will reveal hundreds of 35mm film strips, film reels, Director’s chairs, theater marquees, bullhorns, etc— MFF is far more interested in unique, cinematic designs that can be implemented across all of our marketing materials, from posters and banners, to our Film Guide, on to print and online advertising campaigns.
In addition, we are seeking creative designs that showcase our community in a unique way, both to our local patrons and sponsors, but also to the national and international filmmaking community. This means we are looking to discover sophisticated, diverse, community-focused designs that speak directly to the elements that make Montclair and the Film Festival unique.
Designs that find ways to integrate these interests and ideas, with a flexible, repeatable design that uniquely showcases our organization and community, will be of immense interest to MFF as we select a winning project.
