September 29, 2014, Montclair, NJ The Montclair Film Festival  today announced that Stephen Colbert will host an evening with his longtime friend Steve Carell on stage at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in downtown Newark, NJ on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 8:00 PM.  A Conversation With Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell, held in support of the Montclair Film Festival, New Jersey’s leading non-profit film organization, will feature the pair in an on-stage conversation, bringing these two comedy legends together for one memorable night.

From their earliest days as performers, working together at the improvisation company Second City, to their unforgettable Even Stevphen debates on The Daily Show, Colbert and Carell have a rich history of comedic collaboration. The evening will feature a multimedia presentation of rarely-seen highlights and an in-depth conversation spanning their extraordinary careers.
