Montclair Film Festival celebrated the Academy Awards by bringing Hollywood Glam to our 5th Annual Oscars’ Eve Party last Saturday. It was a snowy night (again!) but that didn’t stop the over 200 guests who arrived at The Loft in Montclair to walk the red carpet and party like the stars do in Hollywood.

The party theme was “Bubbles and Bites” . . . the “bubbles” being Prosecco served by two men dressed as Oscar and the “bites” were movie inspired morsels of food catered by Events by Joni. The guests were encouraged to wear something gold as Oscar would and The Loft was beautifully decorated by Julianne and Jim Fenhagen in green and gold, lots of sparkle, and party lights.

 

To add to the festive atmosphere, party goers also enjoyed the talents of a psychic lip stick reader and strolling magicians. And if you happened to forget your gold, Bobbi Brown’s studio was open for the “Glam Bar” where guests could get touches of gold added to their look.

 

The dance floor was full till midnight with music provided by DJ John Macaluso of Mystical Entertainment–all in all, a party fit for Hollywood . . . minus the snow of course!
