An animated adaptation of the 2022 Pulitzer Prize-winning story, detailing the odyssey of Zumrat Duwat, a mother of three in China’s Xinjiang region. Over the span of eleven months Zumrat was imprisoned, interrogated, tortured and sterilized, all because of her Muslim faith.
