Adapted from the illustrated stories of the acclaimed New York cartoonist Adrian Tomine, Jacques Audiard’s PARIS, 13TH DISTRICT is the story of young lovers and the rollercoaster of sex, emotion, and friendship that defines contemporary romance. Filmed in beautiful black and white in the City of Lights, PARIS, 13TH DISTRICT tells the story of Émilie (Lucie Zhang) and Camille (Makita Samba) who meet when Camille answers Émilie’s ad seeking a new roommate. But when sparks begin to fly, new relationships and attractions create tensions that re-frame the romantic orbits that define their lives.
