RED ROCKET is Sean Baker’s (THE FLORIDA PROJECT) examination of a small-time hustler  looking to create his own version of the American Dream. Mikey (Simon Rex) returns to his small, Texas hometown after spending years in California working in the adult film industry. Down on his luck, but unwilling to take any responsibility for his ongoing misfortunes, he talks his way back into the life of his estranged wife Lexi (Bree Elrod). But when Mikey meets a teenage cashier at his local donut shop, he hatches a plan to do whatever it takes to get back on top.
