Tim Wardle’s documentary is the perfect example of the old adage that truth is stranger than fiction. A chance encounter reunites Bobby, Eddy, and David—triplets separated at birth and adopted by different families. Neither the triplets, nor the families that adopted them, were aware of each other’s existence, even though they lived within 100 miles of each other. Digging deeper into their past, they discover a startling secret that forces them to reevaluate not only their upbringing but also the nuances of nature vs. nurture.
