In A LOT OF NOTHING, Mo McRae’s satire about the illusions of activism in the social media age, James (Y’Lan Noel) and Vanessa (Cleopatra Coleman) are ostensibly the perfect married couple; beautiful, successful, and smart. But when a police-involved shooting shocks their community, they decide they can no longer sit by and do nothing. But what can they do? The answer to that question will send their lives spiraling out of control as they decide to seek justice on their own terms. At once explosive and funny, A LOT OF NOTHING marks a bravura debut for director Mo McRae.
