In the stunning new documentary FOUR DAUGHTERS, Olfa is a Tunisian woman and the mother of four daughters. Caught up in the political changes that are sweeping the nation, Olfa’s two older daughters disappear from her life, sending a devastating shockwave through her family. To fill in their absence, director Kaouther Ben Hania invites professional actresses to inhabit their roles, inventing a unique cinema experience that will lift the veil on Olfa and her daughters’ life stories. FOUR DAUGHTERS is an intimate journey of hope, rebellion, and sisterhood that questions the very foundations of Tunisian society.
In Arabic with English subtitles.
