Montclair Film Adds New Board Members to Its Board of Trustees
Montclair Film is proud to announce the following additions to their Board of Trustees: Tess Fils-Aime, Greg Kahn, Prem Ramaswami, and Stephanie Sherline. The President of the Board of Trustees, Evelyn McGee Colbert, welcomed the new Trustees saying: “We are thrilled to welcome Tess, Greg, Prem, and Stephanie to our Board. Their diverse professional experience and community engagement will help Montclair Film to look ahead as it positions itself for a sustainable future. They are all passionate about film and how film can be used to strengthen our communities and fuel economic growth. We are excited for what they will bring to our already robust Board of Trustees.”
TESS FILS-AIME:
As a financial professional for over 30 years, Tess is dedicated to teaching financial literacy to children. She is currently the Director of Specialized Equity Trading with UBS Financial Services Inc. Tess also works with organizations dedicated to the unhoused population and teen mentoring in our community. She is an active member of St. Paul Baptist church and Delta Sigma Theta sorority, Inc. Tess is a mom to a teen son. Both Tess and her son have participated in Montclair Film’s education courses over the years. She served as moderator for the Q&A with NASA Astronaut Leland Melvin following the community and school screenings of THE SPACE RACE at The Clairidge. Her hobbies include thrifting and comic book collecting.
“I am passionate about volunteering. As an occasional student at Montclair Film, I understand the possibilities of learning through film. I look forward to serving on Montclair Film’s Education Committee, spreading the good news about the annual Film Festival, year-long programming, and expansion of film curriculum in schools,” said Tess.
GREG KAHN:
Greg Kahn is the CEO of GK Digital Ventures, an advisory firm dedicated to guiding Fortune 500 companies and leading entrepreneurs in leveraging emerging
technologies that drive new revenue growth and investment opportunities. He’s also an active angel investor. With over 25 years of experience, Greg has guided media companies, marketers, investors and startups on finding actionable business use cases with artificial intelligence, gaming, the creator economy, virtual/augmented/mixed and spatial reality, ad tech, data science, home automation, electric vehicles, smart cities, digital retail, and blockchain. Greg previously held leadership posts at Viacom, Meredith Corp. and Publicis Groupe.
In the fall of 2023, Greg co-founded AI Trailblazers, a private group that serves as an information and dealmaking hub designed to foster meaningful connections among business leaders seeking to shape the AI revolution. AI Trailblazers has partnered on exclusive symposiums with Bloomberg, NY Times on AI, and the AI Summit at NY Tech Week. Greg has been honored with accolades such as Advertising Age’s Media Maven, Mediaweek’s All-Star, and CEO World’s Business Role Model of the Year.

worlds of cinema, culture and digital innovation. I’m excited to contribute to the organization’s mission of inspiring, educating and representing New Jersey’s values through the art of film.”
Greg holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He resides in Montclair, New Jersey, with his wife and two children.
PREM RAMASWAMI:
Prem Ramaswami is a product management leader focused on the intersection of technology and wide-scale social impact. He currently leads Data Commons, an open source initiative by Google aiming to make all the world’s public data universally accessible and useful. Its goal is to empower every person to become a data based decision maker. Prem holds a degree in Computer & Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon . He also holds a MBA from Harvard Business School. Prem developed and taught an introductory course on Product Management at Harvard, Stanford, Sequoia’s startup school, and numerous other venues.
When not building products to make data sing, Prem spends hours building Lego cities with his two sons and watching way too much TV with his wife. Prem states, “I am thrilled to join the Montclair Film Board! As a passionate film enthusiast who believes in the power of cinema to move and inspire, I have always been fascinated by how movies and technology continue to evolve together. I am very excited to help Montclair Film in its mission to bring exceptional cinematic experiences to our community.”
STEPHANIE SHERLINE:
Stephanie Sherline is a Partner in McKinsey & Company’s New Jersey office, with a focus on leading organizations through large-scale transformations and
organizational changes. Prior to McKinsey, Stephanie had a career in arts management, having spent time in Chicago and New York as a Production Manager
for Broadway, Off-Broadway, and touring productions. She also supported strategic efforts with Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and Brooklyn Academy of Music. Stephanie holds a degree in Theatre from Northwestern University and a MBA from Columbia Business School. She is a proud Montclair resident, where she lives with her husband (Ilya), daughters (Emma and Nina) and dog (Lucy).
“Montclair Film – and all it brings to the community of Montclair, northern NJ, and beyond! – was a big factor in my family’s choice to move to Montclair several years ago. I wanted my family to be in a community rich in the arts – which brings people together, starts conversations, and enriches the lives of people of all ages. I am thrilled to support this organization and be a part of the positive impact it creates,” commented Stephanie.
