The art of skydiving has been part of the cinematic imagination since cameras were invented, creating indelible images and scenes that have shaped our experience of film, television, and, of course, commercials. Bryce Leavitt and Marah Strauch’s new film SPACE COWBOY is a portrait of Joe Jennings, a pioneer of skydiving cinematography, as he looks back on creating iconic moments in film and television, while trying to turn a new, dreamlike vision into reality. Will he pull off his greatest feat of aerial cinematography yet or will the sky be the limit?
