A changing climate has made the impact of wildfires more devastating for communities around the country, and for Dusty (Josh O’Connor) and his family, the losses include their family’s Colorado ranch. Forced into emergency government shelter with other area families, the rugged individualism of wide open Western spaces is transformed into the necessity of community support and mutual aid. Max Walker-Silverman’s REBUILDING is an intimate drama about survival, the impact of loss, and the realization that, come what may, we’re all in this together.
