Shot in beautiful black and white, C’MON C’MON is the story of a radio documentary creator named Johnny (Joaquin Phoenix), who is working on a story about the dreams and aspirations of children in cities across America. But when his sister Viv (Gaby Hoffmann) calls in need of support in caring for her young son, Johnny travels to LA to join his nephew (Woody Norman), forging a tenuous but transformational relationship in this delicate and deeply moving film about the connections between adults and children, the past and the future, from writer-director Mike Mills.
