Based on the award-winning 2007 novella by Ian McEwan, Dominic Cooke’s ON CHESIL BEACH tells the story of Florence (Saoirse Ronan) and Edward (Billy Howle), a pair of English newlyweds on their honeymoon in the early 1960s. While the two come from very different backgrounds, their courtship is one of kindness and excitement for the wedding night to come.
