1993, Nigeria. On the eve of national elections, Forarin (Sope Dirisu) returns home to his small village to find his young sons Aki and Remi excited to see him after his extended absence. With their mother off to work a job out of town, Forarin has his own business to attend to in Lagos, so he takes the boys with him into the big city. But when the elections are subverted by the government, a military intervention begins that could threaten their ability to be reunited as a family.
